A material mix of cotton and palm fibre. Small raffia bundles have been woven into the cotton piece across the entire width of these lightweight carpet runners. Its basic colour - a fresh, natural green derived from leaves - is a tribute to Mali after the rainy season. Countless no dots, circles and dashes have been painted on by hand to form the pattern. The underside of the fabric is not coated, so the narrow carpet is a purely natural product.
