Small raffia bundles have been woven into the cotton piece across the entire width of these lightweight carpet runners using a unique technique. The mud of the Niger River is the main ingredient for the black colour. The runner is dotted with small white dots, circles, lines and crosses - like a night sky with countless stars. The underside of the fabric is not coated, so the runner is a pure natural product.
